SEAL distributed 7,605 rootstocks in Akkar Al Attiqa to 507 farmers in order to support farmers and ensure a source of income.
This northern village produces about 150,000 boxes of apples annually and most are sold to nearby villages.
This project is a part of SEAL’s ROOTSTOCKS DISTRIBUTION program, which is committed to upgrading Lebanon’s agricultural supply chain through the distribution of high-grade fruit tree rootstocks.
