SEAL funded the first phase of this project in 2012, with 600 meters of 6" water pipes. The second phase entailed funding the purchase and installation of 1,400 meters of 4" water pipes originating from the Al Kersi River. It resulted in the irrigation of 250,000m2 of land used for farming, and expanded the reach of water to more agricultural land in order to increase crop productivity and living standards.
This project is a part of SEAL’s IRRIGATION NETWORK program, which digs wells and installs irrigation systems throughout Lebanon.
