As fertilizer prices rose considerably in 2007, a significant number of farmers across Lebanon could no longer afford them. This resulted in a notable decrease in fruit production, and subsequently decreased revenues for these families.
In cooperation with the mayors of three villages in the Yanouh region, SEAL contributed to the distribution of over 22,000kg of compost to benefit more than 200 farmers from the towns of Hdayni, Ain Kouna and Hay el Boustan.
