SEAL funded the purchase of tailoring and embroidery machines for a women's training center in Aley. The center conducted tailoring training seminars for women for periods of six months, thus equipping the female beneficiaries with income-generating skills.
SEAL's local partner for this project was the 'Society of Lebanon the Giver', a non-profit organization established in 1983 to promote the quality of life of impoverished Lebanese families through educational and social development projects.
