Nabha suffers from a shortage of water for irrigation due to the absence of good water canals to help water reach lands over a distance of 20km. This project will allow the installation of 5-inch water pipes over a distance of 5km, and is a continuation of a previous project funded by MEPI where 1km of pipes were renovated. Local crops are varied, including olives, almonds and apricots.
This project is a part of SEAL’s IRRIGATION NETWORK program, which digs wells and installs irrigation systems throughout Lebanon.
