SEAL sponsored a six-week Information Technology training program that the Saradar Foundation's E-Caravan (a mobile IT school, equipped with 10 PCs, one laser printer and an LCD projector) conducted in Bar Elias, in the Bekaa Valley.
This occurred within the framework of a pilot project by the 'Lebanese Physical Handicapped Union' to create a job center in the area dedicated to disabled persons.

The caravan was stationed in Bar Elias for six weeks and provided training for approximately 40 students (ages 12 to 50 years old) with a special training curriculum developed and tailored to meet their specific needs.

The curriculum included Microsoft Windows XP, Word XP, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook Express & Internet, as well as resume writing and job interview preparation. Upon completion of the course, trainees obtained a certificate delivered by Formatech, a Microsoft-certified technical education center.
Moreover, the Saradar Foundation was able to secure jobs for some of the enrolled participants, thanks to their newly acquired skills.
