This project aims at developing the beekeeping sector and honey production by training experienced beekeepers as well as beginners, with a particular focus on women, to work in beekeeping. They will be trained in the importance of the Queen Bee and its role in the life of the beehive, honey production and dealing with beehives, frames, candles and how to extract honey, cleaning and packaging, all through a series of trainings and orientations whose cost will be covered by the association.

The association then intends to establish a set of 100 beehives to distribute to beekeepers to produce the honey. SEAL will provide the equipment required for these hives. Finally, with the help of SEAL, the association will set up a sorting and packaging center, and a factory to produce foods derived from honey under the Candy Bees label.
