This project consists of purchasing beehives, suits and all equipment necessary for honey making. After the honey is produced, its wax can be recycled. The association will provide training and the honey will be sold in local markets, supermarkets and door to door.

This beekeeping initiative, which supports a coop that currently works with farmers who own the surrounding lands, is expected to yield 1,200kg of honey a year, leading to new income for the members. The project has an incredible environmental impact, as well as economic benefits for women famers, who are able to work productively in this sector.
