Bayssour Association has produced homemade mouneh including zaatar, hommos, kechek and juices for many years. The cooperative is ready to begin to export two of its zaatar products outside Lebanon but needs ISO certification in order to achieve this. This is the second time that SEAL has supported this cooperative. SEAL’s first project with Wadi el Taym, which was very successful, involved the purchase of industrial equipment and multiplied zaatar production by a factor of more than 10.
