Increase in arable lands of 2,300,000m2

By 2015, Sereel’s existing irrigation network had become old and full of sediment, interrupting the irrigation operations and leading to water wastage. SEAL installed a network of 3,000m of 5-inch water pipes along with the necessary accessories, in order to transport water from the source at Wadi El Kassab to local agricultural lands. This significantly increased the productivity and incomes of local farmers.

This project is a part of SEAL’s IRRIGATION NETWORK program, which digs wells and installs irrigation systems throughout Lebanon.
