Due to climate change and an acute lack of water, many farmers do not have access to water to irrigate their crops. Lebanon is facing chronic and critical water shortages. SEAL supported the cooperative to install modern irrigation networks linked to two separate wells.

The implementation took place in 3 phases:
1: Pumping water from the well at the Hima Cedars Forest entrance area
2: Pumping water from the well of Al Mrayjat area
3: Building extensions for the delivery of irrigation water to the Hoora and Mills Valley regions

This project is a part of SEAL’s IRRIGATION NETWORK program, which digs wells and installs irrigation systems throughout Lebanon.
